River Cruises
AmaWaterways - AmaWaterways offers specially-themed Wine Cruises featuring a wine specialist on board to lead tastings and excursions, all at no additional cost. Each Wine Cruise is hosted by a qualified wine expert or vintner who usually brings hand-selected wines on board that are served during meals and at tastings. On all its cruises, Ama offers a selection of complimentary local wines with lunch and dinner as well as sparkling wine with breakfast. Their new ship AmaMagna is the largest ship sailing on the rivers.
UnCruise Adventures - This small-ship adventure cruise line is unique in offering domestic sailings on the Columbia, Snake and Willamette Rivers through Oregon and Washington. Sommelier-led trips to wineries and breweries compliment other culinary tours to olive oil producers, chocolatiers and cheese mongers.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruise - Uniworld boasts some of the most luxurious ships on the river, including the spectacular and newly renovated S.S. Bon Voyage sailing through Bordeaux. It also includes one of the only itineraries to sail to Burgundy. The Connoisseur Collection offers culinary-focused French cruises that visit famous restaurants, vineyards, truffle farms and other culinary highlights. On-board, Uniworld offers a large selection of complimentary wines, carefully selected by the sommelier to highlight the local region. All meals are exquisitely prepared using the finest and freshest ingredients sourced from local farmers' markets.
Ocean Cruises
Celebrity Cruises - In addition to offering a staggering selection of wines, Celebrity offers some truly unique wine experiences on board, including the Blendtique Wine Experience where you can become a vintner for the day and the Riedel Comparative Wine Crystal Workshop.
Oceania Cruises - Known for having the “finest cuisine at sea,” Oceania’s culinary program is overseen by the one and only Jacques Pépin. It’s offerings include hands-on cooking classes with trips to the local market and exclusive winery excursions in renowned wine regions like Tuscany, Provence and Santorini. Oceania’s Marina and Riviera ships feature La Reserve by Wine Spectator, which offers not only wine seminars and vintage tastings but also gourmet dinners pairing fine wines with delectable courses. The exclusive Dom Perignon Experience is now available at La Reserve. This first of its kind dining experience pairs six courses with a different expression and vintage of Dom Perignon’s acclaimed cuvées.
Ponant Cruises - This boutique French cruise line offers, not surprisingly, incredible cuisine and a wonderful selection of fine wines. Ponant also offers special gastronomy and oenology themed cruises where guests sail with Michelin-starred chefs or renowned sommeliers - including special sailings in partnership with Château Latour, Ducasse Conseil, and Revue de Vin de France.

The Seabourn culinary team is trained in Chef Keller's research and development kitchen based in Napa Valley to ensure an unrivaled dining experience at sea. In addition, Seabourn offers educational wine classes as well as unique themed sailings like the Yoga and Wine meditation cruise.

Silversea - This luxury cruise line is launching an exciting new culinary initiative called Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) that allows travelers to deep dive into local traditions through food and wine. Experiences like guided market-to-plate excursions, cooking demos with local chefs and educational tastings will immerse guests in artisanal techniques and allow a rich appreciation for the people and customs in the region. In addition, Wine Voyages welcome world-class vintners to share their expertise onboard and lead one-of-a-kind tastings and private tours to renowned vineyards and wineries across the globe. An introductory sommelier course is a further highlight to these sailings. For all sailings, Silversea’s new wine program offers approximately 160 different wines from 70 different labels, and every major wine region in the world is represented in their complimentary wine list.

Aside from these special sailings, Windstar offers wine tastings with their sommelier and shore excursions to wineries and restaurants. Windstar is unique in that its small size enables it to sail to ports not accessible by large ships. This gives travelers the chance to immerse in interesting local cuisine and customs that are truly extraordinary.
